3D outcome planning and experimentation

For my design project, I will create 4 2D outcomes and 2 3D outcomes. For 3D outcomes, I will create interior of my design in two different aspect. Materials which I will use for my project are mount board, wooden matchsticks, popsicle stick crafts, acrylic paint, acetate sheet, small fairy light, wood glue, PVA glue and glue gun.

At first, I was planning to buy furniture from online website but there did not the the size that I wanted so I decided to make my own. This is my experiment on trying to make the chair and the table for my project so that I can see how it will look in my design. I used popsicle stick crafts to make the chair and mount board and round stick for to make the dinning table.

First, I cut the popsicle stick crafts into 4 pieces and stuck them all with wooden glue and same as the dinning table I cut the mountboard into square and also the round stick and stick them together with the hot glue gun. I also used popsicle stick crafts cut it into small square to make the support of the table.

This is the outcome of the chair and the table. I made this chair design because it did not take a lot of time to make and it is more simple to make than the other design.

Since my project, I used pink colour so I decided to coloured the chair in pink colour to see if it look better with or without the colour. Finally, I think the coloured chair is look better than uncoloured one. I will also decide that I am going to use this design both chair and table for my final 3d outcome.
