Further research: Kelly Wearstler

I begin to look at Kelly Weartler. Weartler is an interior designer who design wide rage of across high-end residential, commercial, retail and hospitality spaces. I first begin to look at her living room design in Malibu Beach.

This living room design, Weartler is focusing on designing that is connecting to nature by using sun-bleached colour palette. I like the colour concept since it is look natural, relaxing and stress-free when it comebine with nature light source. Weatler use various of furniture and decoration which I think that make the room looking a bit busy and looking tide. I like a couch that weartler using in this room, the soft oath colour cozy couch that are fit the room environment. Weartler also include chairs and two table light which I think that make room look tide because it almost block the walking space. I really like the design frame behind the couch, she use wood frame with overlapping design that make it looks unique with combination of wood colour such as maple, ash, white oak, cherry. Weatler also include some plants and flower that make the room more conection to the nature. The fireplace design looking fancy and simplicity. Weartler chose dark emperador marble colour which I think it is not really fit to the colour concept and made the space looks half bright and half dark. Looking on the ceiling, Weatler use ceiling lamp that look like grass which I also think that it is not fitting well with room. The Malibu Beach residential design here, as in my own project I would like to design rooms with some of this colour concept idea and how I might use furniture, decoration and space.

In Wearstler's bedroom design, as my project I will use wooden materials such as ask, oak and cherry that can be found locally in the UK. I am choosing wood materials because wood is known to be one of the most naturally renewable energy sources, which means it will have less of an impact on the environment compared to other materials.

Further look at Weartler bedroom design, colour suspensibility she also use sun-bleach colour palette that make connect to natural sea view. In this bedroom design, Weartler using

In this Malibu Beach residential design have an aspect to me and I would like to design rooms that simplicity, open, environment less busy, using colour with connecting to natural light and bring rooms environment that feeling comfort and inner peace. I think wearstler use a lot decoration in here which make the space look a bit busy and not much space for walking. By looking at Wearstler design I can assume on  how can I planning on space and study how the space work also I can understand better on spacing when putting on decoration.

This is another project design of Wearstler. In this design, I think Wearstler use less decoration but focus more one colour decoration of the wall and floor. By using the busy wall colour and floor it makes the room look a bit busy decoration but I like how  Wearstler use less decoration that make more spaces. In this design, in my rpject I will use capitation of beige colour palette for wall. This design is inspred me on how I use materials and decorations on small space but created into space that is look open and simplicity.
