Creating space planning and zoning

 These are some of my floor plan sketches that I have created. I have looked at website that show about how to create floor plan and the first step is to create bubble diagram. I write 3 general zones and then divided them into room that I will be create. My project is to create a house of family of 3 people so I write how many room that I will create for this house. Next, I divided them again into floor including ground floor and first floor.

After divided room and know how many room in each floor, I started to sketches out several of floor plan to see which floorplan is better such as space and traffic flows.

These are ground floor plan sketches.

After trying out several floor plan sketches, these two sketches are floor plan that I chose for my project. I chose to have rectangular because it easy to design and spending less than other shape.

Ground floor plan

I decided to choose this floor plan because I think the space work well and I want to place the bedroom and bathroom at the left hand side and when entering from the entrance there will be an open living room and kitchen so it makes the space much larger. I place the stair at the end of the left hand size because it don't really have much foot traffic so placing it to the side it would be good and it also help the space doesn't interrupt with stair. 

First floor plan 

I chose this floorplan on upstairs because I think it is better than my other floorplan and it looks more space on the hallway.
