What do I know about interior design..

1. What should I be doing in my subject area?

In interior design I should eb doing is creating space planning, floor planning concept sketches, creating spaces such as home, office, restaurants, shops and other places which depend on how clients wanted to be. I also need to do research about materials, furniture fitting.   

2.What skills and knowledge do I need for my subject area?

Skills and knowledge that I need are sketching out design in both hand-sketching and digital sketching, and other programs or software that I need to create interior spaces. I also need to know how spaces are work such as light and shadow and knowledge of understanding on materials and furniture to fit in and better knowledge about colours on how it effects to people's feeling.

3.What jobs can I get by studying in this subject?

By studying interior design as I knew, I can work in design firm in company or I can also open my own business as an interior designer. I can also work as interior design consultant. 

4.If I scored myself out of ten, with ten being the highest, how well do I think I know my own subject area?

I would score myself five out of ten because I think my knowledge about interior design is still limited and I still need to improve on sketches, space planning and materials.
