creating kitchen design using homebyme

Kitchen is one of the most important room in the house which also the place that have the most foot traffic in the house. So in my design which inspired by bohemian design and my kitchen is opening space with dinning area.

I sketched out a few design which I out design kitchen position of kitchen and dinning area to see which one is work best. I decided to chose the sketch number 3 because I think it good for foot traffic and the first sketch where I put my dinning table in front of  the stair I think it less a small space for walking and it also in front of bathroom which I think it is not a good choice. Than, I also try out with rectangle and round dinning table and I think I will chose the rectangle one because it save more space than the round dinning table one.

I also did a simple sketch the show what I want my kitchen to look.

This is my simple sketch and in this sketche I draw out a few tile design which I one to put in my kitchen such for backsplash I four different design, two design for kitchen floor and three different design on the kitchen worktop. For the wall part, I think I will go with white paint because I already use the purple with the cabinet and if I use more colour I think it make the space look overwhelmed . In cabinet I will use dark purple maybe dark grayish purple. I also draw chair design that I want to include. Then, I will use this simple sketch and idea of what I will design, I will use homebyme to bring my design out.

First, I want to use different floor design on my kitchen since homebyme doesn't help option to put different floor design on one opening space I will using construction option in homebyme by decrease the high and increase width and depth and added floor design which I want to include.

 

For this floor design, I will use the first one since it bring more bohemian design vibe.

Than, I started to put kitchen cabinet. since the house is not really big there is no room for laundry so I put the machine machine in the kitchen. Then, the cabinet that I use are changeable so I will change the colour into purple colour.

I added purple colour and change the design of cabinet and for the work top I will try two different design which I mention on my sketch which is marble and wood.

I decided to choose wood because it looks better and I will also put tile backsplash with different design which I already said in my sketch.

I decided to choose design number 2 because it looks better than other and I will also created kitchen island, add wood shelf and decoration including plants.

This is the finished look of the kitchen. Then I will add dinning table. 

This is the dinning area. Since the wall next to the dinning table is plain I will add drawer and decoration.

This is my pencil sketch to show what I want to design. I want to use wall paper in three different design and the sketch doesn't look good and it a bit hard for me to draw a wallpaper design so I jus draw simple and I want to use flower wallpaper, lotus shape wallpaper and leaf wallpaper with light purple colour. I will use picture frame, plants and other decorations.

These are wallpaper design style that I tried out and I decided to choose the first one since I like the design and colour. Then I will started added decoration and drawer.
