Further research: Furniture and material

In this shop project design I want to use beautiful modern design furniture which are also sustainable, eco-friendly and durable as much as possible in this design because nowadays it is very important to use sustainable materials to help reduce impact to the environment. 

For this small ice cream shop design in pastel modern style, I will chose this chair because it gave modern look, come with various of colour and the price is affordable. This curved back and metal armrests chair is made from recycled velvet. Velvet is not only giving luxury look it is also durable, easy to clean and maintain. This chair is made from 100% recycled PET yarns which is made from recycled bottle.

For the table I chose this square marble table. Marble is sustainable materials because it found in nature, it also give elegant look, easy to clean, very durable and come with different colour and texture. Since marble is strong materials, very easy to clean and very long lasting it also save more money to replace it. Marble can also recycled too.

I will also use wood in my design too. I will use hardwood because it much denser than softwood and very durable. Hardwood is good choice to use when there is a lot of foot traffic and it is also very resistant of wear and tear, it is easy to clean and maintain. Oak, Ash, Walnut, Maple, Beech. Oak hardwood is provide water resistant and against warping. I will this hardwood for counter area. 

Another materials that I will be using is Porcelain Tile. Porcelain is very popular tile use both residentials and commercials design due to budget friendly, easy to maintain, durable and it is also come with many different colour, style, pattern and size. Porcelain is a best choice to use in commercials where there are high traffic use because it is very dense, easy to clean and absorption rate resists bacteria growth and staining. In my design I will use these for flooring, bathroom and backsplash.
